What is Biometric Data?
Biometric data is identifying information related to your biometric characteristics (such as a face scan) used to identify you individually. OFX uses this to provide you resources and services through our Website, applications and APIs.
How does OFX collect your Biometric Data?
When you sign up, you provide Biometric Data. OFX uses a third party service provider, Onfido, to collect and store this data. We never obtain this data without notifying you in writing or without your explicit consent.
How long does OFX keep your Biometric Data?
We keep your data as long as you have an active account. After closure, we retain it according to regional regulations (e.g., 1 year for the US). You may request rectification or deletion at privacy@ofx.com.
